ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2008


The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, held in Rotterdam, is one of the world's biggest indoor tennis tournaments and a main Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) event.

It's one of the exclusive group of 11 International Series Gold tournaments on the ATP circuit, attracting elite international players and about 100,000 spectators each year. The event has been sponsored by ABN AMRO since 1974.

ABN AMRO and Ahoy' in Rotterdam renewed their sponsorship contract for the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament until at least 2011.

The 2008 tournament

The 35th ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was held on 18—24 February at Ahoy' Rotterdam. Michael Llodra of France beat Robin Soderling from Sweden in an exciting final. The tournament drew some 104,000 visitors through its gates this year.

As the tournament organiser, we were named the 'Tournament of the Year in Europe' by ATP

The tournament at Ahoy' Rotterdam regularly attracts more than 100,000 visitors.
